I know we are all digital. Actually everything is digital…from watches to computers to cell phones…..everything is online. If you want to know, see, hear or find something….look it up online.
It was just the other day when I dropped off my grandson to a place I didn’t know – so I just put the address into the phone and poof, the exact location popped up.
So what do I mean by three more days to digital? Well, on April 3rd Avon is going digital. In the past we would sign up and pick a starter kit that contained loads of products, samples and brochures. Well, Avon wants you to ditch the brochures (not completely because they will still be available). But wants you to direct your customers to order online. Give them the online address and tell them they can view the brochure there and order.
There are pros and cons on that for me. A lot of customers love browsing through a book, love calling me to place their order (think they like to have chats more) and love having me place the order and deliver to them. On one hand I love interacting with my customers but also find their ordering online helps make my life easier. I really dont mind delivering orders except that sometimes it is hard to connect with people and find the right time to deliver. (We are all busy) And so digital helps me. Also the kits are different and while you have your choice of 3 different kits to start you off, now there is a base amount for them ($30 for any kit).
There is also more incentives online. Like free shipping, free products, lots of discounts and Hidden Hundreds (check back April 3 to learn about that one).
So if you are thinking of becoming an Avon Rep and haven’t made up your mind yet, think about going digital. Work from the comfort of your home with a free website and marketing tools, along with free social media posts to share…..and have a great income….all without leaving home.
I was never a person who took vitamins. Mom didnt believe in them and so I made my way through life without them and often eating the wrong foods also. The older I got the more I gained weight and I often got sick. My biggest sickness was earaches.
When I got married and met my in-laws they were in their 70s and doing so well. Talks with my MIL made me realize she was a big fan of vitamins. She also watched every food she ate making sure there was no red jello because it contained dye for the coloring. When I got pregnant with my first child was the first time I had a vitamin.
And so I saw my in-laws doing well (lived way into their 90s) and decided there must be some truth to taking vitamins. So when I wasnt taking pre-natal vitamins, I decided on taking a regular vitamin everyday. And the results are amazing…never felt better. Between my new weight loss program, my walking and taking vitamins….think I am becoming a healthier me.
I recently changed my vitamins though and have found these to be the best for me and also formulated for me. Do you take vitamins? Why or why not?
There are always codes for free shipping at Avon. You automatically get it when you spend $40. But what if you dont want to spend $40? How can you still get free shipping? Follow this blog because I always post about #free shipping on orders as low as $25.
Most of us play the Lottery, some play cards or go to Vegas to do the whole gambling thing like roulette and black jack. But how many times do you win? Are you the lucky type of person who always wins something….whether it’s a dollar or thousands of dollars. I know I dont even win when I enter a book giveaway.
For years my son has bought me scratch offs on Mothers Day and – well, it was fun scratching them off. But I do keep trying…because you never know.
And so, once again, we are doing Sweepstakes on Avon. Very easy – just enter – nothing to buy – but you get the chance to win such great hydration products for your skin…..
Yes, it has ended – As of August 20th you no longer can get it. I am so sorry but I have been posting for the past two weeks hoping everyone would see it. I did have three people who did and acted on it They are very happy about it. Actually someone asked about it this morning and I had to tell them that it is over……but
Have you ever had your day/week planned out. I am a planner, I use a planner. Besides the calendar in my phone, I keep a physical planner for my everyday life and my business. And each moment is filled with something I must do, or see, or buy or deliver. And so my week starts off with a visit from the grandkids, wanting to sleep over…so laundry that was planned does not get done. I also planned to deliver an Avon order to a customer tonight. But alas those plans were changed because I could not install the thermostat I bought (you know the ones that I can control with a cell phone).
I waited for the tech to install it and in the process he blew out a fuse in my HVAC system. So the plans I had tomorrow morning to go to my Weight Watchers meeting, will have to be changed as the HVAC tech will be here at the same time. Maybe I will go later in the day or push it to Wednesday. Was also planning to visit my son tomorrow night but he got a viral infection and with hubby’s resistance we could not chance a visit.
I still have to go shopping for the block party coming up on Saturday and trying to figure out when to fit that in. Thursday is doctor day for hubby and I also have to take my grandson to his golf lesson. Somewhere in between all this I will be delivering Avon brochures to old customers and new customers in the neighborhood.
I guess it is true what they say – Man makes plans and G-d laughs. But this is minor compared other people’s life changes and so it is all fixable or changeable. And that is why pencils have erasers….
The thing about beauty is it’s fleeting. We start out as a cute baby (most of us anyway) and grow into a cute toddler, and then by the teenage years we are experimenting with beauty and colors and accessories. Our 20s and 30s find us trying to stay in those decades because inevitably we find ourselves pushing 40….and by 50 we are wondering what happened.
Some of us accept what we are and look like, content in that fact that at our age who are we kidding. We would need a lot more makeup to get back to looking like 20. Or you can go the other way, surgery is always a option, although I am not one to go that way. And so we find what we were doing for our skin in our 20s has a way of catching up to us.
But if you turn on the TV today, you will find all kinds of skin care products telling us they will get rid of those wrinkles, make your lips fuller, lashes longer and skin smoother. But are you willing to send hundreds of dollars to do that? I always believed that starting to take care of our skin in our 20s affords us the best possible skin later in our lives.
I have always wanted longer lashes. The boys in my family have such long and full lashes….while us gals are piling on the mascara. Or maybe putting on some fake eyelashes. Or permanent eyelashes.
Well, no more – because I have found UNLIMITED LASHES… In just weeks your lashes look longer, fuller and healthier. Avon’s unique serum, with a peptide blend and botanicals, is designed to dramatically enhance the look of your lashes….so you never have to FAKE it.
Dare to compare to prestige brands sold from $80 to $150…..you can get this serum for only $39.99 Plus get a FREE Eye Lift Pro with your purchase…..Check out my store at www.youravon.com/ashapiro
